Recently, we ran a story about Yahoo!'s deal empowering AT&T to sell its display inventory locally as part of Yellowpages.com, search packages and other products. We asked Mike Silver, who heads the Newspaper Consortium -- a collective of most of the nation's publicly traded newspaper companies who are partnered with Yahoo! on display ad sales and HotJobs -- for his take on the competition.
