To best align with the film’s boundary pushing brilliance, KICK-ASS was the first film to develop a campaign with ‘ThisMoment.’ This system provided a socially agnostic platform to leverage discussions about the film across YouTube, MySpace, Facebook & Twitter, while distributing KICK-ASS marketing materials, promotions and redband content. The ‘ThisMoment’ platform enabled users to view conversations across major social networks in one central location. Breaking down the walls of social media allowed a user to be on Facebook, see a video get uploaded on YouTube and comment on that exact video, without ever going to YouTube.
