Brand: Mojiva Ad Network
Executives
Involved: CEO Dave Gwozdz
Brief: Mojiva owns and operates the fastest
growing mobile advertising network, currently reaching more than 140 million
global unique users monthly through mobile web and app display advertising (36
million in the US). Mojiva has grown faster than any other advertising network
in just over 2 years of business, and currently helps advertisers reach their
target mobile audiences in 200+ countries.
In June 2010, Mojiva, announced that it has begun its planned expansion to
Europe by appointing Nick Marsh as Director of Sales, EMEA. Mr. Marsh will open
a London office to begin promoting Mojiva to the UK and other European markets.
Earlier in the year, Mojiva struck a deal with Tokyo based NOBOT Inc. to serve
ads and apps into Mojiva's network and has agreed to run ads and apps across
its network for Mojiva.
In terms of campaigns, the number of impressions run over the Mojiva mobile ad
network has experienced a 177% increase in the first six months of 2010. The
number of publisher sites engaging Mojiva as their ad network has moved up by
252% in just 12 months. In addition, the campaigns run by Mojiva have doubled
in the space of a year.
Mojiva has differentiated their market offering by providing advertisers with
robust technology to buy mobile ads for very specific target audiences through
sophisticated keyword matching and mobile thumbprint core technology (showing
the same ad to the same mobile user more than the number of times specified is
minimized). Put simply, this means that advertisers are able to reach and
engage with their relevant target audiences, thus making it easier to increase
brand awareness and drive sales.
In addition, their advertiser self-serve interface is one of the easiest, most
user friendly way to buy mobile advertising for those wishing to manage and
track the process themselves.
Unlike other ad networks, Mojiva has a subsidiary company mOcean Mobile
(www.mOceanmobile.com) that is not only Mojiva's underlying ad serving and
analytics platform, it is licensed to others (including 8 of the top 40 ad
mobile networks) and is firmly established as the leading independent mobile ad
serving and analytics platform, currently managing over 6 billion ad requests
for mobile websites, ad networks and applications.
Mojiva has been heavily involved with the improvement of the mobile advertising
industry by lending thoughts, insight and support to various industry events
and conferences such as ad:tech, DIGIDAY:Mobile, Dow Jones Wireless
Innovations, CNN, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, CNet and Billboard Mobile
Live at CTIA, and has supported vital industry research designed to help the industry prosper as a whole.
Overall, Mojiva is the best ad network due to their commitment to providing
sound technology that both publishers and advertisers can benefit from, their
sheer growth in such a short amount of time (and through an economic downturn
also), and lastly, because of their commitment to improving the industry as a
whole, by sharing experience and knowledge at influential conferences and
events.
