Campaign Brief: Medialets mobile rich media ad for Vampire Weekend's new album "Contra" created a first-of-its-kind interactive mobile experience.

The ad, which ran within the NPR iPhone app, was activated when a user tapped on the banner ad. The new Vampire Weekend song "Cousins" would begin playing along with a music video.

By simply shaking their phone, the engaged user was able to 'edit' the music video as well as click to directly buy the new album from the iTunes store on their device.

26% of engaged users viewed the video.
23% of engaged users shook the video.
18% viewed the album info
4% purchased the album on iTunes via their mobile device

Medialets' mobile rich media ad for Vamprie Weekend has won the Smaato Award for Best Mobile Creative and the DIVA Award for Best In-App Video Content
