DPAC 2010 Best iPad App - Utility WINNER: Zinio

Zinio was asked by Apple (and given 2 iPads to develop on) to build a global digital magazine newsstand app to be included on the iPad when it launched. Zinio delivered, On April 3rd, Zinio's app was on the iPad. The app is a free app which enables anyone who downloads it to read and explore 20 interactive and high fidelity articles for free. For those who choose to register for a zinio account, they are able to choose free magazines to get them started, and access to a full store of single issues, subscriptions (that enable the publisher to keep the revenue and the data) and back issues. One of the best things about this app is that it remembers any content you bought on any other Zinio platform and makes it available for you to read online or offline for free.
