To ignite the blogosphere buzz, Bausch & Lomb Multi-Focal brand ambassadors joined or started conversations on more than 500 blogs and discussion boards and successfully utilized Twitter to drive traffic to the Bausch & Lomb Multi-Focal web site(www.goodbyereaders.com). By the end of the campaign, the “See a New You” Twitter account had over 2,400 targeted and highly active followers. Additionally, Bausch & Lomb aggressively promoted educational videos on YouTube and photos on Flickr, published and promoted three “lenses” on Squidoo.com and proactively bookmarked relevant content across the Web.
