By introducing its highly respected brand to the social networking community, Kellogg helped educate people about hunger in American and build awareness for Feeding America. In less than one month, Kellogg Cares gained more than 200,000 Facebook fans. The goal of 100,000 was exceeded within 2 weeks. The fan base now exceeds 211,000 people and is organically growing at about 3,000 people each day. Katalyst contracted Demi Moore to direct the editing and completion of the final video about the issue of hunger in America. The video included a call to action for consumers to join the Kellogg Cares Facebook page. It's just one reason why "mrskutcher" proudly posted a picture of the campaign's winning SAMMY on her twitpic page.
